Sotaro Shimada, Ph.D.
Dr. Shimada is a Full Professor at School of Science and Technology, Meiji University in Japan, with expertise in neuroimaging techniques, including functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) and electroencephalography (EEG). He is also the director of Cognitive Neuroscience Lab at Meiji University. His main research interests are in social cognitive neuroscience, ranging from self-body recognition to the mirror neuron system and inter-brain interaction.
